File Guidelines

Upload-and-go works best when your file is truly print-ready. Use this page to double-check before ordering.

Quick rule: If your file looks crisp at full size on your screen, it’s probably fine. If it looks blurry, pixelated, or tiny — it needs help.

If you want small fixes like background removal or upscaling, choose Design Assistance.

✅ Print-Ready Files

  • Vector files: SVG, AI, or PDF
  • High-res PNG or JPG (300 DPI at final size)
  • Transparent backgrounds (when needed)
  • Clean edges, sharp text, readable details
  • Final spelling, layout, and sizing approved

🚫 Not Print-Ready

  • Screenshots, photos of screens, or social media downloads
  • Low-resolution images pulled from Google
  • Logos copied from websites
  • Blurry or pixelated artwork
  • Files that need redesign or heavy cleanup

Recommended File Specs

Best formats: SVG, AI, PDF (vector files scale perfectly)

Raster images: PNG or JPG at 300 DPI at the size you want printed

Color: RGB is fine for upload — we handle print conversion

Transparency: Use PNG or vector for transparent backgrounds

Text: Outlined or embedded when possible (no missing fonts)

Placement matters.
If you’re unsure how large or where your design should go on the product, we’ll position it for best results as part of print prep.

Will you check my file before printing?

Yes — we check for basic print readiness (resolution, placement, size). We do not redesign files unless Design Assistance is selected.

Can you remove a background or clean up edges?

Small fixes like background removal or light cleanup fall under Design Assistance.

What if my file isn’t usable?

We’ll reach out and recommend the best option — upload a better file, add Design Assistance, or move into a Custom Project.
