Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. Below is how returns, refunds, and exchanges work at The Imprintinator™.

Important note: Most products are made to order. Eligibility depends on whether your item is customized, made-to-order, or non-custom, and whether there is a defect or production error. For shipping timelines, see our Shipping & Delivery Info.

What’s Eligible

  • Non-custom items: Returnable within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition/packaging.
  • Made-to-order or customized items: Final sale unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted.
  • Damaged / Defective / Misprinted items: We’ll make it right. See “Issues With Your Order” below.

What counts as customized or made-to-order?
Any product that includes uploaded artwork, names, dates, numbers, personalization, color selections, or is printed specifically for your order (including Imprintinator Originals) is considered made-to-order.

How to Start a Return

Email support@theimprintinator.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • A brief reason (e.g., sizing, changed mind, received as a gift)
  • Photos if there is damage or a defect

We’ll respond with approval status and next steps. Returns sent without approval may be refused by the production partner.

Exchanges

To receive a different size, color, or product, the fastest option is to place a new order. If your original item is eligible for return, start a return and we’ll issue a refund once it’s received and approved.

Return Shipping & Fees

  • Our error (defect, misprint, damage, or wrong item): We cover replacement or refund and any required shipping.
  • Change of mind or fit issues on eligible non-custom items: Customer is responsible for return shipping. Original shipping is non-refundable.

Issues With Your Order

If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 business days of delivery at support@theimprintinator.com.

  • Order number
  • Clear photos showing the full item and close-up of the issue
  • Packaging or labels if relevant

After review, we’ll arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit as appropriate. Minor color variation or placement differences are normal in made-to-order printing and are not considered defects.

Refunds

  • Method: Issued to the original payment method
  • Timing: Approved refunds typically post within 5–10 business days after inspection, depending on your bank
  • Non-refundable: Original shipping, rush fees, and third-party add-ons unless the return is due to our error

If you haven’t received a refund after confirmation, check with your bank or card provider first, then reach out to us at support@theimprintinator.com.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized or made-to-order products (unless defective)
  • Gift cards and digital/downloadable items
  • Final-sale items marked “Final Sale”
  • Items returned used, washed, or not in resellable condition

Gifts

  • If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, approved returns may be issued as store credit.
  • Otherwise, refunds are issued to the original purchaser.

Wrong or Undeliverable Addresses

  • Please confirm your shipping address carefully at checkout.
  • Packages returned due to address errors may be reshipped at the customer’s expense.
  • We are not responsible for carrier or customs delays.

International Orders

International orders are accepted by request. Duties, VAT, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are non-refundable. Customs processing may extend delivery timelines.

Return Window Summary

  • Non-custom items: 30 days from delivery
  • Made-to-order or customized items: Final sale unless defective (report within 7 business days)
