Accessibility Statement
Building a site that works for everyone. Last updated June 10, 2026.

Our commitment
The Imprintinator™ is a small custom-print studio, and we believe everyone should be able to bring an idea to life with us — regardless of how they access the web. We're committed to making theimprintinator.com usable for the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnifiers.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more useable to everyone.
What we're doing
- Using semantic HTML structure (headings, lists, landmarks) so screen readers can navigate logically.
- Providing descriptive alt text for product images and brand imagery.
- Maintaining a color palette designed to meet contrast standards for text readability.
- Making interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) keyboard-accessible with visible focus states.
- Testing the storefront on mobile and tablet devices in addition to desktop.
- Choosing a Shopify theme built with accessibility best practices in mind.
Known limitations
Because we're a one-person studio, we're not perfect — and we know it. Some areas where we're still working toward full conformance:
- Some product mockup images may have generic alt text inherited from print-on-demand suppliers. We're updating these as we go.
- Older blog posts may have inconsistent heading structure.
- Third-party widgets (review apps, chat tools) follow their providers' accessibility standards, which may not always match ours.
We're committed to fixing these as we discover them.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you've experienced an accessibility barrier on our site, or if you're using assistive technology and something isn't working the way it should, please reach out. We'd love to make it right — and you'll likely help other shoppers in the process.
Email: hello@theimprintinator.com
When you reach out, please tell us:
- The page URL where you encountered the issue
- What you were trying to do
- What happened (or didn't happen)
- The assistive technology you're using, if applicable (screen reader, voice control, etc.)
Need a different way to order?
If our site doesn't work for you and you'd like to place an order another way — by phone, by email, or by us walking you through it — we're happy to help. Just email us at hello@theimprintinator.com and we'll find a way that works.
Formal complaints
If you'd like to file a formal complaint about web accessibility, you can contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov/file-a-complaint. We'd appreciate the chance to fix the issue first, but we respect your right to escalate.
