Data Deletion Instructions
Data Deletion Instructions
Want your information removed from our records? Here is exactly how to ask — what we will need, what we will do, and how long it takes.
How to Request Deletion
Step 1 — Email us
Send a message to support@theimprintinator.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Step 2 — Include details that help us find you
So we can locate the right records, please include:
- The email address used on your order(s)
- Order numbers, if you have them
- Name on file and billing ZIP
- Anything else that may help match the account
Step 3 — We confirm and process
We confirm receipt within 1 business day, complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you once it is done.
What We Will Remove
Customer and account information
- Account details, contact info, and address book entries
- Marketing email and SMS opt-ins
- Order history details that are not legally required to retain
- Any uploaded artwork or design files tied to your account
What We May Keep
Records we are required to retain
Some information has to stay in our records for legal or accounting reasons, even after a deletion request:
- Transaction records required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years)
- Records subject to legal hold, active dispute, or fraud investigation
- Anonymized or aggregated data that contains no personal identifiers
If this applies to your records, we will tell you exactly what is being retained and why when we confirm completion.
Timeline & Confirmation
How fast does this happen?
- Confirmation of receipt: within 1 business day
- Full processing: within 30 days of your original request
- Confirmation of completion: emailed to you once finished
What if I just want to unsubscribe from emails?
You do not need to file a deletion request for that. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email and we will stop sending. Your account stays active so future order receipts still come through.
Questions before you submit? Reach out and we will walk you through what would be removed before you commit.
