How Made-to-Order Actually Works (and Why Nothing Sits on a Shelf Here)

Here's a thing most people don't know about us: when you place an order, the thing you ordered doesn't exist yet. No warehouse shelf, no dusty inventory, no "grab one from the back." Your piece gets made because you ordered it — made fresh, just for you.

Why we work this way

Custom means custom. A shirt with your dog's name on it can't sit in a warehouse waiting for someone with the same dog. Made-to-order means every piece starts life already belonging to someone — and nothing gets made that nobody wanted. Less waste, more meaning.

What happens after you click order

1. Your order becomes a print file. Your text, your photo, your choices get locked into the final design.

2. Production. Most items are made in 2–5 business days; specialty pieces can take 5–8. It's being printed, pressed, poured, or stitched during this window.

The honest math for gift-givers

Add it up and the safe move is ordering about two to three weeks before the moment you need it. Cutting it closer often works out — but "often" is a rough word to hang a birthday on. When in doubt, order early and enjoy being the person who's done first.
